i recommend my fellow Canadians to watch videos of Canadian combat and documentaries on youtube, it is good to watch to know what the men on the ground are doing. we can see we are different than the states by the footage displayed. we instill courage in the people and chase out the bad with minimal damage and help the people help themselves. i used to dislike the military untill i understood it better, our guys are doing a good job keeping people safe. and i urge people to stop watching American news, it distorts whats realy happening over there.

Drones have no place in the Canadian arsenal, it goes against everything we stand for. we are above hiding behind drones.

Why must we continue to imitate everything that the USA does? We want a different culture here, one that we can be proud of, not one that belongs to another country. Our leaders are completely out of touch with the people. Government should be for and by the people, but Canada’s government strays far from its mandate when it remains ignorant of what the people want and need. Stop being led by corporate propaganda and listen to the people!!!

The horror. I wrote this …
    Dear Prime Minister Harper,

Do you realize the horror of drone missiles killing over 3000 civilians to try and kill a few individuals that were not brought before justice? Extrajudicial murder, especially doing it in a way that would kill so many civilians, is horrifically incompatible with your professed conservative and christian values. We cannot trust you will not do as Obama, therefore we must stop this purchase in the name of the many civilians that will predictably be murdered in the near future by Canadian drone missiles.

Let us stop killing other people.
Too many innocent people are getting killed and it seems to me that armament manufacturers are interested in continuing this.
The cold war is over so other places have to be found to use arms.
I am disgusted at our “democratic” government’s undemocratic behaviour.

Stop turning Canada into a poor reflection of the USA. Their society has failed; let’s show them how to succeed.

Of all the infrastructure problems, of all the unemployment problems, of all the financials problems we have, you decide to purchase death machines with my money. Shame on you PM.!

Most of us would agree that we live in a cause-and-effect universe. There is always a reason why things are the way they are. Drones are a horrific way to carry out a war, which is in itself a horrible thing. I ask all of you to google “PNAC”, and check out the contents of this disturbing document. It will help you understand why 9/11 happened, and why things have unraveled ever since. Why these costly, unnecessary and cruel wars are being fought in our name, and are now leading us to the promotion of Reaper and Predator drones to fight a “remote control” war.

They (we) are creating enemies and then arming themselves to the teeth to fight these evil beings. Their humanity is taken away, and in turn, inhumane ways are devised to eliminate (kill) them.

Our ever-smiling prime minister wants us to be part of what he perceives to be the winning team. That’s Team USA. We shall be the winners, while there will be untold enemy losers, whom we should not care about. It’s a very disturbing objective. It’s called “Perception Management”. We are compassionate Canadians. We must resist.

What kind of kickbacks are happening that make Harper and his thugs so desparate to have such hideous weapons of indescriminate destruction? What’s next? Nuclear weapons for Canada??

Shame on those who commit war crimes

Killing without due process of the international law

Harper and the conservative party are corporate drones and we’ve spent too much money on them already.

I added a very harsh remark to my letter saying how pathetic Harper is and he only want the drone to show off the balls he doesn’t have.
