I have peronified the message and I can’t find a button that says “Send” or anything like that. You’ll have to make the process workable or I won’t be able to participate.

      Hi Fred,

I couldn’t find it either. But after reading your message I tried hard to find it…and there it was…right directly underneath where you put your Postal Code/Zip.

I think the submit button should be way bigger and in Green. I almost didn’t submit either and perhaps many others didn’t that would have because they couldn’t find it easily.

I understand all the negative reply’s here…but Nuclear Threats are a Reality…why do you think all the World Powers control each other with the threat of a Nuclear Invasion.

This subject is Real. which needs some Deep Thoughts on it all!

Hello! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this problem.
If you have any suggestions, please share. Cheers!

Yes dumb-ass, i have a suggestion. Why don’t you take your stupid question and take a hike.

This petition is a waste of resources. Canada is already a part of the Non-proliferation of nuclear weapons due to our peaceful nuclear energy program, as is any country with nuclear capabilities. Canada does not and will not have nuclear weapons for this fact alone. Do more thorough research before you start petitions such as this.

We have done the research, thanks. And Canada needs to play a role in abolishing nuclear weapons globally. That’s why this campaign is so important.

“Aiming to achieve global nuclear disarmament, Canada and 190 states joined the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) which came into force in 1970. Yet our nation has undermined the NPT. Canada sold reactors to dictatorships in Argentina, back in the junta era. The Harper Conservatives contracted nuclear materials to India, one of four states that has not joined the NPT but has declared possession of nuclear arms. The G-20 meeting concluded in 2010 that Canada’s dealings with India acted against the NPT. Now Harper has agreed to relax our regulatory and reporting requirements to make a $3 billion sale of uranium yellow cake to China.”

Hello Canada Joe; You are quite wrong in assuming that our federal M.P.’s have no say. We have a federal election coming in 2015 and we need voices in Ottawa to bring this issue to the forefront. Harper and his cronies need to be exposed for the war mongers that they are!!

    • Canada JoeAugust 5, 2013 at 4:35 pm #

No your wrong. Nuclear weapons aren’t going to be an issue in 2015 election, why would they? No political party in Canada is going to waste breath on this unless and until the “actual” nuclear powers chose to do anything.

The Green Party, a one woman joke.

The Liberals, PET didn’t have a problem with the Genies in Canada and openly lied about them for years. Now they won’t waste their time.

The NDP, another joke of a party.

The Tories, again better and more important issues to deal with.

      • dimitriAugust 6, 2013 at 2:45 pm #

According to you Joe, we should all just shrug our shoulders and let the Tories take us down the path of dirty oil, unfettered arms sales and spending, and stay quiet about the horrible development of nuclear arms on the world stage. Hah!

Well sorry bud, we don’t wanna just sit there and take it. That’s why Ceasefire and people like us are here! We yearn for a better world, not the crap that’s being dished out since atomic weapons were used to murder civilians 68 years ago. Please wrap your head around the concept that things change with little steps. We’re not looking to turn the world around lickety split. Seeing the end of Stephen Harper and his cronies is just the beginning of a long fight for what is good.

Too bad I don’t believe a word of what you or any of the Kremlin bought and paid for “peace” movement member has to say. Where is the concern over Russia’s rearmament? Or India or China’s for that matter? Strangely there is always silence from these guardians of morality.

Ceasefire is just another anti-Western group working for some one else’s agenda, for shame.

          • dimitriAugust 7, 2013 at 8:47 am #

Sorry Joe, but i’m a greek, not that it makes any difference. You’re concerned with rearmament in russia, china and india? Whose total stockpile and arms activity is dwarfed by the USA? Guardians of morality? The biggest so-called guardian of morality is the USA, which is quite hypocritical, with its numerous unnecessary wars under its belt. And I believe India, who is not a member of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty, is supplied by the americans.

Ceasefire anti-western? Try PRO-PEACE. You’ve got it all wrong bud. You are concerned with gas stations and global warming, which is good, but we’re talking about NUCLEAR ARMS here. This insanity of nuclear one-upmanship has to be halted for the sake of humanity!

  6. Canada JoeAugust 1, 2013 at 6:27 pm #

What silly question. Of course they would say “yes”, it cost them nothing as they have no actually say anyways.

Ask something important, like would they shut down all gas station to stop global warming or something like that.
