HEY JOHNNY, WHAT ARE YOU REBELLING AGAINST?
WHAT DO YOU GOT” MARLON BRANDO- THE WILD ONE

  2. Peckerhead Says:

    Prime Minister Harper,

Most canadians, practically ALL canadians are against nuclear armaments. You represent us, so please don’t hesitate to support the wishes of your citizens and BAN nuclear weapons at every opportunity!

Your “i know what’s good for canada” way of governing is disconcerting, to say the least, so please DO THE RIGHT BLOODY THING!

    Prime Minister Harper,

Now with the evidence of the devastation created by nuclear weapons and the Fukushima incident of March 2011 I ask you to fairly and honestly educate the Canadian public regarding the safety issues and most important how having any form of nuclear industry appears more to be about corporate welfare, paid for by the taxpayers. Already, Germany, Italy, Japan and others are acting to close their nuclear plants; to end the Nuclear Industry.

The horrors occurring to the people of Iraq because of nuclear weapons especially to the population of Fallujah in fact contradict “Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Adopted by Resolution 260 (III) A of the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1948; genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: ” I know that I do not need to continue. You are the Prime Minister. You are familiar with The Hague World Court. Please make Canada an ethical voice on the world stage. Please be fair to the citizens of Canada and to the citizens of the World.

  4. André Robichaud Says:

Any human contemplating using those weapons should be treated as a war criminal. Please do not use your power as majority government to make this possible.

  5. Josh Boyaner Says:

    Dear Mr Prime Minister
Please believe this is sincere and not a partisan attack. We all want to support you in pursuing peace for our country and the world.

    Thank you

  6. Ken Says:

I wept as a child, sensing my parents fear, and vulnerability, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. This was as a child of five, and even at that tender age I knew that what we were experiencing was horribly, horribly wrong.
I am no more reconciled to the proliferation of nuclear arms today, and it is inconceivable to me that any adult would wish that horror upon a child.

  7. Sally Hodges Says:

My letter, in case it is helpful. (Plse excuse the French).

    Prime Minister Harper,

Like you, I am a ‘moderate’ – politically and in my faith. I believe that nuclear weapons are a sin, just as slavery was. I think those who think that the Bible would condone nuclear weapons have a wrong interpretation of the Bible. In fact, I think that we humans are called to rid the world of nuclear weapons as fast as possible. I, like many others, have spent the last 30 years campaigning against this monstrous evil. Please do everything in your power to bring about the end of nuclear weapons as fast as possible. There is no excuse not to. Thank you.

    Sally Hodges

  8. Barbara Says:

Do you think he will take any notice? But we have to try to educate him as to what we the people think!

    • Mieke Wharton Says:

It’s extremely unlikely that mr Harper will take any notice of anything Canadians have to say but we have to make our opinions known somehow!
