The Canadian Auto Workers’ staff has made a $15,000 donation to the Rideau Institute’s Ceasefire program.

The CAW and the Rideau Institute “have worked together on important issues and expect to do so in the future,” said Annie Labaj, the Director of the CAW’s International Department, in her letter announcing the donation. She also praised the Institute for its work to “bring like minded progressives together on important issues.”

The support from the Canadian Auto Workers employees will be used to promote Canada as a peace leader in the international community.
