As the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki approaches, we take stock of important nuclear arms control milestones, both positive and negative.
As we near the 74th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombings, we call on every Canadian to let prospective candidates for federal elected office know the importance of our government doing everything within its power to ensure that nuclear weapons are never again used.
Let us hope that the Prime Minister’s courage in standing up to Saudi Arabia will also propel him to take bold steps in support of global nuclear disarmament.
